Bears, Buddies & Toys in Laguna Niguel

Bears, Buddies and Toys just opened up in Laguna Niguel, in south orange county california. Their tagline "It's not just a shop--it's an adventure!" is certainly true as my daughter will attest.

As you walk in, you can't help but notice the great big pirate ship in the middle of the store. Just off to the side of the ship is a clock tower story telling room where I'm told they have story time for tots on select mornings. Beyond that is a cute castle room. The castle and pirate ship have tables and chairs for a beautiful theme birthday party.

They currently have four standard party packages or you can customize your party package to provide a unique experience for the guests. Party packages include:

Stuff-an-Animal Party
Guests get to stuff an animal of their choice, receive a "goodie bag" and participate in a special activity. The birthday guest of honor also recieves a free outfit for their stuffed animal, a keepsake birthday photo, and a balloon bouquet. The package also includes invitations and party decorations.

Theme Dress-Up & Stuff-an-Animal Party Combo
Not only do guests and guest of honor receive everything in the stuff-an-animal party, they also get to dress up in theme costumes (princess, pirate, etc.).

Theme Dress-Up & Gift Party
The focus of this package is of course the theme dress up with the addition of take home theme gifts. Also included is a "goodie bag" and participation in a special activity. The birthday guest of honor also recieves keepsake birthday photo and a balloon bouquet.

The Crown Jewel Party
This party includes everything above and is for the mom who has to give their kids everything or just plain can't decide which party to do.

Their planners can help you create a gift registry from their selection of unique toys, clothes, books and gifts. They can also provide personalized party invitations and thank you cards.

In addition to the parties, the store also sells the middleton dool just for little kids. They have a special nursery setup where kids can choose, nurture and outfit their new baby.

They stock they best children's toys especially well made wooden toys, kitchenettes and more. They also carry some cute baby clothes so it's a great place to shop for baby shower gifts.

My daughter had so much fun there I couldn't get her to leave, and we were just there to shop. Imagine having a birthday party there? And of course, that's all she talks about - "having her birthday party at bears, buddies & toys".
